Aviation and Safety Merit Badge Dec. 11-12, 2015

For our December trip, we will be working toward completion of the Aviation and Safety Merit Badges.  The Troop will travel to Morristown, NJ to visit the Viacom Pictures hanger and the aircraft that reside there.  On Friday night, Scouts will have the opportunity to tour the facilities at the airfield, including the firefighting and snow removal equipment.  In addition, they will visit the control tower for the field.  On Saturday, we will continue work on the Aviation Merit Badge, work on the Safety Merit Badge, and if time is available, perform annual maintenance on troop equipment.  We will wrap up between 3 and 5 PM.  Links to a full description of the trip, directions, payment page and Safety Merit Badge Workbook  are posted below.
